Who We Are
Engineered wood flooring, built to be lived on for generations.
Sanders & Fink was founded in 2011 with a single conviction: that floors should be as considered as any other element of a well-designed home. Not a finish applied at the end of a project, but a decision made at the start.
We set out to create a range of engineered wood floors that combined the warmth and character of real oak with the dimensional stability modern living demands. Every board in every range is chosen for the quality of its timber, the precision of its engineering, and the honesty of its finish.
Today, Sanders & Fink is available through a network of specialist flooring retailers across the UK — and through our luxury vinyl collection, Pro Loc, we offer the same attention to detail in a fully waterproof format for every room in the home.
The Making of It

Every Sanders & Fink board begins with a real oak wear layer — the same wood you would find in a solid floor, selected for its grain, colour, and consistency. That layer is bonded under pressure to a precision-engineered core that gives the board the dimensional stability solid wood alone cannot provide.
The result is a floor that moves and breathes with your home, holds its shape across underfloor heating, and ages the way real wood should — gracefully, with character that deepens over time.

We believe that a beautiful floor should not come at the expense of the forests it comes from. Sanders & Fink is committed to sourcing timber responsibly — working only with suppliers who operate within sustainable forestry frameworks and can account for every step in their supply chain.
Our engineered oak is selected for its quality and consistency, and we are proud that the wood we use comes from forests where management practices protect biodiversity, respect local communities, and ensure that what is taken is replaced.

We source oak only from suppliers operating within recognised sustainable forestry frameworks, with full chain-of-custody transparency.

All Sanders & Fink boards are independently tested and certified to A+ emission standards — the safest classification for indoor environments.
