The Artists Collection began with a simple question: what does a floor look like when the person who made it cared as much about finish as about function? Each board in the Artists range is heavily brushed to open the grain, then stained and oiled in complex, multi-layered tones that you can’t replicate with a photograph — you have to stand on them.
The textures are working textures. The brushing removes the softer growth rings and leaves the harder grain standing proud, giving each plank a surface that feels like something made by hand, not pressed out of a factory. In stronger light, the boards almost appear three-dimensional.
Named for the great painters — Giotto, Manet, Morandi — the individual products within the collection each have their own tonal personality, from the silvery warmth of Morandi to the deeper, smoked drama of Manet and Giotto. Together they form a range for interiors where the floor is expected to carry its weight in the room.

Every board in the Artists Collection starts as a real oak wear layer — selected for grain consistency, colour range, and knot character. The board is then run through a heavy wire-brush process that removes the softer sapwood between the growth rings, leaving the harder grain standing proud.
Where the boards are smoked, the treatment sinks into the open-grain structure and becomes part of the wood rather than sitting on top of it. The final ultra matt lacquer seals and protects without obscuring the texture or adding surface sheen.

4mm real oak wear layer bonded to a precision-engineered HDF core for outstanding dimensional stability.
Suitable for use over wet and electric underfloor heating systems. We recommend a maximum surface temperature of 27–28°C.
Suitable for floating installation over most subfloors, or full-spread glue-down for a more solid feel.
Independently tested and certified to A+ VOC emission standards — the highest rating for indoor environments.
