Every board in the Cumbrian Collection is finished with Loba natural oil — a penetrating oil that feeds into the wood rather than sitting on top of it, leaving the grain open to the touch and the surface looking exactly as oak should: warm, matte, and alive. It requires periodic maintenance, but that’s part of the relationship with natural-finish flooring — and the boards repay the attention.
The herringbone format is laid in a 70mm × 280mm stave across all colourways — a scale that works with a wide range of room sizes and proportions. The 15mm total construction, with a 4mm oak wear layer, gives the range real longevity and the option to sand and re-oil over time. Responsibly sourced European oak throughout.

Natural Oil Finish
The finish that letsoak be oak.
Loba natural oil penetrates the wood fibres rather than forming a surface film, which means the floor looks and feels like real wood — not a varnished facsimile. The grain is open to the touch, the colour is true, and the floor develops a gentle patina over time.
When marks appear — and with natural-finish oak, they will — maintenance is straightforward: sand the affected area lightly, re-oil, and blend. A natural-finish floor can be refreshed without a full sand and re-lay.
